Indick
Mr. Indick is a co-founder of Prides Capital, LLC. He is general counsel as well as an integral part of the Prides Capital investment team. Mr. Indick is a member of the board of directors of Ameritrans Corporation (AMTC), a public portfolio company of Prides Capital LLC.
Prior to joining Prides Capital, Mr. Indick was partner/general counsel at Blum Capital, which he joined in 1997. Prior to joining Blum Capital, Mr. Indick was a partner in the Washington, D.C., office of Dechert Price & Rhoads, where he maintained a broad-based corporate, securities, and financial institutions law practice.
Mr. Indick practiced corporate and financial institutions law for 10 years with Wilmer, Cutler & Pickering in Washington, D.C. He has counseled clients concerning all aspects of their acquisitions and sales of companies and assets, has advised boards of directors as regular and special counsel, and has litigated a wide range of business issues.
While at Blum Capital, Mr. Indick was responsible for all of the legal and compliance aspects of that firm's business, made and oversaw hundreds of filings under the federal securities laws, participated in the formation of numerous funds, and analyzed and successfully closed numerous private transactions (including the leveraged buyouts of Kinetic Concepts, Inc., and CB Richard Ellis, the PIPE investments in URS Corporation and PRG-Schultz International, and the acquisition of certain private companies).
Mr. Indick earned a B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania and a J.D. from the Georgetown University Law Center.
